I never could understand why that is even a rational solution. It seems a bit odd to approach a strange and disturbing man on the street and offer him precious jewels. But I guess if it works…

Precious jewels is a bit of an overstatement, seeing as a single flawed diamond sells for the same as twelve whispered hints.

That’s why it’s fate locked- the fate is for the inspiration in the first place, not for the results.
