We can now vote on the last stretch of the railway and the place for Furnace’s private town - either at Balmoral or Pimple-under-Molehill.
I guess, other leaders have different options.
You can see (what I assume are) all the options for the site of the tracklayers’ city based on leadership of the tracklayers and board membership down at the bottom of the "convene a board meeting" storylet.
And the Burrow is actually the best for me - they will have nice neighbours, they will be too far away to cause any trouble, and this decision spurns every possible leader and their agenda.
And now such an interesting choice. Pity the clatification looks like a final decision.

Fittingly enough, having a leader you control gives a lot of options, while having Cornelius or Furnace kinda restricts you to the one they actually want (unless you go with a board member proposal). It’s rather nice that having a lackey has actual benefits, even if I have decided to keep Furnace as leader.
Well, you can’t actually go out to Marigold yet… but after you lay tracks, you can run another meeting and approve the station plans. The rest of the board more-or-less treats this as the conclusion, they throw you a little party, and give you a nice little retirement present. A very nice retirement present. I quite like it, really, and what it represents.
Some very interesting choices about who to make a City… I’m kinda torn between the Manager and Cornelius (especially since there’s also the choice to restore Furnace!).
“…it would be like dying in the best way,” says the Solicitor-Baroness. “It would be like a devil’s death.”
This is interesting. What does it mean?

One of the Kickstart rewards for Mask of the Rose was an interview with the devil Milton. The topic is touched on very briefly, before Mr Pages intervenes.
If my memory isn’t pulling a Treachery on me, devils shrug off death like a mildly amusing experience, much more so than humans in the Neath.
They can still be destroyed, but this requires more than mere death.
So, who had “local earth-power proposes marriage to union leader” on their bingo card? Because I sure didn’t.

That sounds right. My recollection of the Milton interview is that, to a devil most deaths only involve a change of bodily form, not a cessation of being.

I tried to proceed with making the Tracklayers’ City, only to find that those storylets are locked until June 10, which is the Thursday a week from today.
Does it seem like the railway board will continue to meet after we approve the plans for Marigold Station? I haven’t fully built out my train luxuries yet, and was trying to figure out if I’ll still have opportunities to do so in the future. Hopefully we can continue to issue dividends weekly as well?
It does. I’d have killed for dividends to just be some weekly payment though because I’m never gonna do a damn meeting again. It’d take me a month just to whittle my board down to manageable
Take a look at some of the recent messages on PSGarak’s profile–he already finished the vote to take the GHR to Marigold. One message ends: "[After this, from time to time, there may be additional small story events that require the attention of your board. They will also, of course, be able to vote on regular dividends.]"

Yeah, I know. And it’s disappointing because I was hoping it’d work out otherwise. I have such a big board and it takes so long to whittle down…
I like the new content, and especially the Baroness’ comments on the currency and the debt-settling.
I talked to Manager at Hurlers, but I can’t figure out how to proceed his storyline. Any tips would be welcome.

Divident Payout should scale with number of board members, if you ask me. Justify it as the expertise of each member helping the GHR earn more.
I still haven’t managed to get my hands on a single damn mirrorcatch box.
Edit: Ah, I just checked the wiki and I see they’ve finally added a reliable way to get them. To the Fiddler’s Scarlet, then. Good thing I’ve been watching a lot of parades.

After you successfully double him, the next step is city-making at Ealing. Of course the process itself is still time-gated, as stated above.

Quite possible. What configuration do I want?..
Where Stones Don’t Stand 1, i.e. First Circle victorious. That’s the setup to produce doubles, at any rate, which is what I have, and the Manager thing worked for me, so…
