Lustrum *spoilers*

So, following Nanako’s advice, I tried &quotclimb the mountain&quot until I succeeded, since there are no negative effects for failing. Once there, I found a Singing Cave, and a shard of something in it. Back in town, Melusine Mergatroyd knew something about it - she referred to &quotthe Science,&quot which I assume is the Red Science we used in Sea to create the Memento Mori. Anyway, she wants these items to build something:

[ul][li]a crate of munitions[/li][li]a bronzewood[/li][li]a stained glass[/li][/ul]I went back to NW to buy all this stuff and immediately truck back out there, but one of the shops has disappeared (the Tackety one; guess I’m too Windward in this save), and I don’t know where to buy stained glass anymore.
Has anybody finished this one? What can you tell us?

I know the game mentions another place to get stained glass, but I can’t remember exactly which port that was. Titania, maybe?
As for the quest, I thought it was very interesting. I kinda rushed through it last night, so I don’t remember everything and will have to play it again soon. There’s quite a bit of information once you bring Melusine her materials, relating to Mr Pennies (who I adore, but I’m not sure that I should). It’s probably the most informative quest I’ve been on so far, but I haven’t been on many.

It’s Magdalene’s for Stained Glass.

Edit - this is wrong. They buy don’t sell stained glass. I will keep looking.

Ah, thanks! I had a feeling I was off on that.

And I just went to Magdalene’s and you can’t buy stained glass. They will buy it though.

A shop in new winchester called the Free Winchester Trader i think, sells stained glass.
That shop seems to be buggy and sometimes disappears. Try restarting your game

Btw your OP is full of spoilers, you should probably mark those :p
Ive finished this quest, without telling any narrative details;

There’s a part in the middle where you have an optional veils check to attempt to steal something.
You can only try this once and the difficulty is crazy high, but there’s no penalty for failing, so feel free to attempt it unless you want to be morally upstanding. i’ve no idea what happens if you succeed

At the end of the quest,

You’ll get a Searing Enigma I’ve not yet found anywhere to sell it, or any use for it.

The three materials you use for the quest are not consumed when you hand them in, this is a bug.
You could do the nice thing and trash them, or capitalise on it and sell them

It seems to disappear If you’ve been favoring the Windward Company.

Similarly, favoring the Freedom Hall will make the Empire store disappear eventually.

This all appears random because nothing ever pops up to inform you that this has happened.

i dont believe this is the case. i always favor the windward company, the store disappeared then reappeared for me.
i lean more towards bug

Titania is the place where you can buy stained glass, I just escorted Prospector to Port Prosper. Lustrum is my favourite port so far. Does anyone has any theory about Mr. Pennies? He seems very similar to certain bats…and some stuff he says tickled my curiosity, indeed.

As far as Mr Pennies goes, all I’ll say is that it’s definitely a storyline worth following.

This is correct, though it will be changing how this works slightly with the next update. There will also always be a place to buy the stained glass once this change goes out. We definitely need to make these things clearer and we shall do so.
