…and I just realized that today: Time, the Healer just told one of my characters that "Favourable Circumstance has not changed from 1 because it’s higher than 0".
So I did a little research, and it seems that Time, the Healer, that little sweetheart, now brings one Favourable Circumstance a week. If one does not already have one, that is. Neat! Thank you for very much for this, delicious friends at Failbetter Games!

Yes, my Time the Healer came right after the patch, just at a time when I was in desperate need of a Docks favour (and the RNG was being its usual spiteful self). Was very handy.
Though I see from your text that you can’t stack up a huge pile of them. I was hoping to do that. Will have to remember to use them instead.
I was wondering why I had a Favourable Circumstance! I have never sought one, and thought it had to do with the Ambition upgrade or something. Yes, thanks, Failbetter! And thanks, c-schroed, for solving the minor mystery of its appearance.
