You just need to have their StoryNexus ID, or theoretically their in-game name should work. There are other Singing Mandrake forums devoted to social interactions that don’t involve knives and candles. Meanwhile, I shall add you to my friends list, and you may feel free to add me.

I’m curious about these knives that you can receive at the cottage. Do they increase certain stats?
The Lost Sky knife gives +10 savage and +10 dangerous from what i’ve seen, while the Waxwail probably gives some ridiculous boosts, maybe to the tune of +15-20 savage and dangerous. Nobody is anywhere near that murderous
Nothing to boost Elusive?
Well, you can boost Elusive (+10) by getting a Shroud of Little Midnights. There’s only seven in existence, so uh finding one may be difficult. They were available to buy for 9 tokens right at the very very start of K&C, but anyone who managed to get one lost them pretty quick because the seven best stabbers were posted shortly after the shrouds stopped being available for sale. As for who has them now, who knows! If you find one, let me know :V
What actually happens to the Shrouds and Boxes when players are stabbed out of the Leagues? I think Alexis mentioned the Cottage being restocked with a Shroud or so when someone died while wearing one… what about the Boxes? Presumably, so long as someone loses their tokens while clutching one every now and then, eventually they’ll be all gone…
Boxes I’m pretty sure are retained even when you get knocked out of the game: there’s a reason why Mirrorsnatch can target non-players as well, after all
Mirrorsnatch boxes are indeed kept (No, you can’t steal mine - it was stolen ages ago). I’ve never gotten any Shrouds (No point attempting to steal those either), but that sounds likely.
Huh! Well, that’s not what I expected, but it makes sense and it certainly resolves the doomsday scenario I had rolling about my head.
My inexperience is showing, and frankly I am confused. After I was knocked out of the game by a near-death experience, Rosaline Butler was kind enough to send me a token (thank you!). However, I am unable either to remember how I originally selected a form nor to figure out how to do so again. Does the option not arise until one has two tokens? Am I missing something?
You pick a Form on the same cards you use to stab people: y’know, the 4card lodgings, mood cards and PoSI cards (widow and invitation)

Forms can be gained with the same cards that allow you to attack, or with a Chrysalis Candle (which costs 2 tokens).
Chrysalis candles only work if you have a Form already!
Or you can use a sense of unease, when you get one.
