So ends a process over 4 years in process. On December 31st 2014 I started my road to gather the three hardest to gather items in the game. I spent almost two years gathering souls (3 million souls) before filling the Brass Embassy to bursting by trading it all for Nevercold Brass, than trading most of the Connections (as this was before the conversion) on even more Brass, ending with over 10.5 million units of Nevercold Brass, which I then sold for a Firkin of Hesperidean Cider in February of 2017. I then started to Deal with the Tigers, trading a small city’s worth of Orphans for Searing Engimas, eventually culminating in a ritual in the Iron Republic that would have been considered obscene anywhere else. During this time I was also slowly gathering information on the Name, and today I journeyed North to claim the final item - A Seven Fold Knock.

Now, it is time to rebuild my empty coffers and look into what I’ve missed on my drive to finish these tasks. That Poet-Laureate looks fun…

Goodness! Good job!

Good god. I thought that much grinding was impossible. Thumbs up! Congratulations!

Hats off to you good sir, now to obtain 3000000 Weasels!

Quite impressive! I’ll give this a thumb’s up later, but right now you’ve got seven, and I just can’t bring myself to break it.

Many congratulations, o delicious one!

Congratulations! Hope the goat behaves!

Congrats.

You beat me to it.

Quite an achievement! Bravo!

Time to start a club?
Time to start a club?
Well, big congratulations, mate! :)

Congratulations! Those are the three grinds I’ve definitively ruled out (for being too grindy for my likes), so bravo!
Congratulations! Those are the three grinds I’ve definitively ruled out (for being too grindy for my likes), so bravo!
TO be honest, getting the Knock isn’t really a grind at all. If you have the patience to raise SMEN, you’ll do so without any damage; the rest is just about selling some items, losing other or some renown and curing few menaces.

It becomes a grind if you want to skip Winking Isle, but you need some fate for that to jump to SMEN 35 and get rid of the candle. Just repeat and you are done!

I don’t think you need Fate for that, though. SMEN 35 is easily reachable with a few thousand Secrets and careful use of the preceeding candles (I believe going Arthur-Cerise takes you to 35 from either 30 or 31, meaning you only need to drown secrets for either two or three SMEN past 28), and I can’t see anything Fate-locked about either Destin or the Lighthouse.

Just completed this exact trio with Heptagoat.

So, almost all of massive tasks in the London are done,

What’s left, is:

 1. Recollect Ubergoat.
 2. Collect Scraps to 12800 (almost 6000 in).

That’s a cheaper option to get the remaining points. :)
