So, once and for all: are devilish drinks inherently poisonous to humans, or not?
Their descriptions clearly imply they are, but examples of mortals drinking them, or at least being expected to, crop up here and there.
From memory, I’m going to say “yes, but some people can drink a little poison and get away with it”. Plus, devils also expect humans to, for instance, eat food that burns their insides. And sets the tablecloth on fire. Devils are accustomed to making humans hurt themselves.
