Hallowmas, 1891: The Visitors Are Here
Hmmm. The Doctor and the Constable seem to represent opposing viewpoints on the liberation of the night. The Magician is a neutral party regarding dreams of roses, while it sounds as though the Bishop and the Diplomat may approach roses from opposing sides of that Fate-locked conflict. The Adventuress brings another set of dreams… I know nothing of the Outcast.

The dreams to seem to correspond to the Neath’s Mysteries qualities. The Mountain for the Garden. Roses for Fingerwork. Light and the night seen through the Eyes of Icarus. That would suggest that, by a process of elimination, the Rubbery Man knows of the Fallen Cities. Possibly more than he ought to.
What I’m thinking… I am afraid that the Bishop is going to make a HUGE mistake. I’ll have to keep an eye on him. ^^

Also: I am not really in the mood to chance other visitors - I like the roses hint (and the Fingerwork storyline) too much.

There is a special option available in the form of the Bishop of Southwark for those who have purchased the fate-locked content in the Labyrinth of Tiger. Feel free to message me if you want to know what it was ;)

Now it is.
Hm, would you mind to update the Magician too? I have to go AFK now and I don’t know if tonight I’ll be online.
Done. Thanks for journalling it =).

That sounds really likely, to be honest… Esp. if we consider a certain fate-locked location…

Either the first one was wrong or there are more dreams per person.

The recorded quality label is different in the character page compared to the label in the storylet result. I chose the special constable and got the &quotA Possible Future The Chill of the Void&quot quality under the circumstance grouping instead of saying traveller returning like in the storylet result. No documentation yet on the wiki.

I picked the Rubbery Man option and it said that, perhaps I’ll dream of an ocean soon. Under the Circumstance, I now have - A Possible Future The Taste of Blackest Brine. It’s going to be interesting, finding out what that means!

Now there is documentation. You can even find the quality number with the ol’ AIrs trick of adding it to your profile.

The Chill of the Void is #4

I put mine on my Mantlepiece but there doesn’t seem to be a number? Just the same text. You can view it here - http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/Airlysilver

That one is a bizarre exception. For now, I’m assuming that means it’s number 1.

It’s just the quality that you silently get. The future dream text is still there.

[/li][li]Your link leads me to the error page with the reference to the server that flamed and guttered &quotlike a dying star&quot. So you may be the victim of an obscure bug.

[/li]

That information is very helpful. Thanks.

Oh, I’m sorry, I’m not sure what that’s all about. It worked fine for me, in any case, if it’s a bug then I guess it will be fixed at some point :-)

The reason this ends up broken in quotes is because the [/quote] code mixes with the url and ends up as http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/Airlysilver</blockquote>

A similar problem occurs when other symbols combine with the url.

Thank you, Aximillio! I’ll make sure to check the links carefully next time before posting :-)

What are some easy ways to change the &quotairs of london&quot ? I’d like to try for the fate-locked &quotspiritual hygiene&quot story bit but simply repeating the Hallowmas card is getting too painful on the nightmares.[li]

Rob a drunk in Spite or spend some time in your bed at your lodgings (you’ll need Wounds 2 for that though)

[li]
Any other ways? My character tries to avoid thievery against &quotinnocents,&quot and the bed takes three actions per.
