If you choose to start over with some of your running battle kept, do you keep more of it the more advanced you are?
And do zee stories give more than successful quirk challenges? edited by Jolanda Swan on 8/21/2017
I believe it cuts your progress in half and yes, they give 5 CP, while quirk challenges give 2. It’s the Map Scrap option that is only worth it if you’re worried you cannot pass a quirk challenge.
Where are those two - The Temperance Campaigner and the Detective?
I remember not finding Jenny last year also, until some got soul here pointed the right direction for me.
What am I missing (again?!)
You just need to be patient and keep playing the main Festival options. It’ll cycle the festival quality, and those options will turn up once it’s in the correct range.
It’s just confusing since unlike the regular Airs of London (or the Forgotten Quarter, etc.), the options’ unlock requirements don’t show us the needed range.

Being a swindler might be a tough job, but if you run for Mayor and do get elected after all, the change in lifestyle might do to you what law and order failed to do in the previous year. I imagine we will see more of that in the Cristmas story.
Wouldn’t that be something to see - a nigh-immortal duelist, head agent of a neathy superpower, a veteran of infernal revolutions, a captain of a brass trireme - finally cracking under the vicissitudes of a political position within London’s bureaucracy!
That would be one Kafkaesque regime :)
Incidentally, both the Dauntless Campaigner and the Implacable Detective are growing ever more near and dear to my heart. The expedition looms on the horizon, and we definitely have a lot left to look forward to this year! edited by Aardvark on 8/21/2017

The Sights at the Festival value for each storylet used to be displayed. Not sure I like this change…
It’s displayed on your Profile though if you choose it as your Scrapbook quality.
The values themselves don’t seem to have changed from previous years. For anyone who’s interested, here’s the list of Feast storylets:

Is it just me, or does "Time, the Healer" not proc on Mutton Island? It’s been a week since the last time but I haven’t recieved the benefits yet.
Wow, I was really looking forward to this. If there’s nothing new, why start a week later than last year? An extra week of anticipation just increases my disappointment that much more. This really takes a lot of the fun out of playing right now.
FBG’s release calendar seems to be tied to weeks rather than dates (this is quite common in UK academia, at least, so it’s not surprising to me). By that reckoning they are not late - the festival started on the penultimate Monday of August (a week before the UK August bank holiday), just like last year.
Similarly, EF stories are released on the last Thursday of the month regardless of the date. edited by genesis on 8/21/2017

I’m sure he’s plotting something. He just has the gamblers laziness and contempt for actual work. He wants thrills and being Mayor isn’t all that thrilling (just ask Jenny).

You know, I think that all the explanations for Feducci’s unexpected absence are true. Feducci is plotting some mischief, the people who organized the Zee festival hate him, and he’s really lazy and would rather goof off than do actual mayor stuff. So he just stayed in London.
Um, who do you think would be his Paramour though?
Equally significant, just what are the Campaigner and the Detective plotting? I mean, they’re obviously plotting something… The Campaigner is talking about a year long campaign and the Detective is all "wink, hint hint, wink" about Feducci & the Elder Continent.
