Forum game: Ask the character!

&quotI wouldn’t. But as that’s not an interesting answer, I’ll say… Mr. Apples. He is, at least, very generous with his wares. Unlike Mr. Spices.&quot

What could induce you to betray the faction you’re closest to?

"I’m with the spies because my wife is a spy. If she had a sudden change of professions - while a rethinking of priorities may be in order.

What is your opinion on cricket?

It packs more protein than rat and is generally a better option for nutrition, costing less resources to raise.

I may be spending too much time training bats.

What are your thoughs on Rattus Faber?

Numerous and resourceful. Despite being mostly dim-witted in my opinion. Certain Rattus Faber, such as those of the Scuttering Company, are incredibly skilled, however, so make sure to hire a squad if you’ve got the Echoes to spare. If you decide to invite more of them to your lodgings, however… well, you’ll quickly learn why they’re nicknamed the L.B.

You are suddenly inspired to make a new weapon/tool or piece of apparel for one of the shops in the Bazaar! What are you going to make, how much will it cost (in Echoes or items, take your pick), and which shop will it be added to?

“Mourning attire. Suit and dress, for Dauncey/Fadgett, respectively. More formal and more shadowy than the sober dress. Respectable, solemn, a tad gloomy, and available for 160 Echoes.”

“You wake up one morning as a Rubbery Man. How do you react?”

Eli: It’s better than waking up one morning next to a Rubbery Man. I can attest to that.

Ezekiel: Would rather be Rubbery than what am currently.

What makes the mushrooms grow?

The light from the South, and the lack of light from above. So to do we grow.

We all stay in London for a moment, but what direction seems most inviting? The mystery and cold of the North, the adventure of the East, the vitality of the South, or the ruddy lights of the West?

What is your favourite place in all of Parabola (There’s a lot of Parabola to choose from)?

&quotI don’t visit that place unless necessary. I had tea with a leopard there in a nice little garden, once, but I’ll be damned if I could tell you where in Parabola that was.&quot

How do you react under extreme duress?

Ezekiel: With even more extreme duress. Nobody gets to cause more extreme duress than this one.

Salt or pepper?

Salt or pepper?[/quote]

Salt. If need be, it can be used to make a makeshift shrine to a Zee-god, which is always appreciated.

Whilst we’re on the topic, best/favorite zee-god?

Oh, very clearly Stone. Storm is dangerous, something one appeases. Salt is just deadly and it is just as terrible to be beloved of Salt as it is to be cursed by Them.

Stone is healing, life, love – She is much my favorite. But Salt rules my life.

What is the most emotionally painful thing your character has ever undergone; did it bring tears to your eyes as well as your character’s?

[ Writing this OoC because there is no way in hell Amelia would ever admit to this. Losing Madeline or Maddie was the most painful thing to have happen to her so far. So much so that it drastically changed her outlook on life and demeanor. Anything that remotely mimics what happened, be it drowning or someone falling shakes her badly. I’ve actually roleplayed something off forums that touched upon this and it did bring me to tears. ]

If you ever had a chance to go back in the past and change your life, would you take it and what would you change?

Flesh-Stick: YEAH, I’D GO BACK AND STOP MYSELF FROM SELLING PEOPLE FOR EXPERIMENTS. THEN MAYBE HER PARENTS WOULD BE ALIVE AND SHE WOULDN’T HATE ME. CAUSE I JUST CAN’T BELIEVE SHE DOESN’T HATE ME.

SO…UH…WHICH OF THE CAT COMPANIONS IS YOUR FAVORITE?

Ser Ocelotin the Magnificent occupies a special ocelot-shaped hole in what might be my heart. Another one of my favourites is the little Parabolan Princess I’ve parted with not too long ago. I hope her new owner is nice to Lady Maria the Seventh of the Far Shores.

Now, while we’re on talking about this, favorite rat companion?

Rats? Oh no no no no no. Those blasted creatures need to be eliminated from the face of the earth. They are dirty, disgusting, and not to mention, full of bacteria. No thanks.

What kind of wine do you think the best?

Eli: I don’t drink very much, but when I do, it’s for social purposes and it’s something cheap and not smelly. No use in paying a fortune for something you don’t enjoy.

How much is too much?

When it can’t fit through the door.

How little is too little?

Edit: Alas, too slow! So.

When the rats start perusing the property pages. Then you know more must be supplied.
