Oh! Sometimes I dream that a pickpocket will steal everything I have.
How many pennies do you spend on food everyday?

Probably too many, but whoād really want to subsist on mushroom-porridge and moonish water? Then again, when I really canāt be bothered to go out to shop Iāll probably just fry up some old romantic notions.
Which gate have you most often used to enter the Bazaar?

A tricky question, but the only true entrance is the Wicket. There is a sea more sunless.
A sensitive question, donāt answer if you put your charge in danger: Who do you protect?
My family. Simple answer, I know, and a little cliche. But thereās a reason that cliches become cliche, after all.
I know not everyone feels the same about theirs, though. Are you protective of your family, or is there no love lost between you?
Eli: The Blood of the Covenant runs thicker than the Water of the Womb. I donāt give a good god damn who I was born with, there are people down here that I reckon Iāll die with. They are my family.
Ezekiel: Just here to weed garden. Lots of little weeds, so little time to pull them. Family. Love. Is smoking gun.
What is love?
My little brother is my only surviving family member, and probably the only person I can safely say that I love, truely and unconditionally. If I am protective of him? Hm. Letās see. I have been angry before. You have seen me hitting people. You have seen me shouting at people. You have even seen me ripping Feducci to shreds (only for this git to get back and pay me for doing this). You, however, have never seen me raging. You have never seen the kind of burning ire one needs in order to come back to life on Surface. If you ever threaten my little brotherās life, you will see it.
And that is why I have never invited him to come here in the Neath, and probably never will (to my great sadness).
(Eli bet me by one minute. I will not change the answer, just paste his question. Shut up.)
Love is that feeling in which not getting your way on something is not seen as a sacrifice, if it will make the other person happy. And, even if the person never aknowledges you for it, you still think it is worth it. It, more often then not, happens on little things, rather than the big, dramatic ones. You do not need to be near the person you love. You just need to know how that person is doing, and how you can help them, of needed. But, if for some reason, you cannot do it - if for some reason you are separated forever from that person, or cannot get news on their well-being, it is the worst pain you will ever feel, because it can only be dulled, never cured. It is a feeling capable of destroying you - or making you greater than you have ever been. It is a feeling that made cities fall before. In more senses than one.
And you can feel like this for any living thing you choose, not only the one you decided to marry with.
Are you, like me, separated from your love?
What a bloody bizarre question ta ask. Separated from loveā¦ feh. Ifān I was thoā¦ and just sayin fer ta sake o tis, but ifān I was I wouldnāt nary be trouncinā my box open bout ta detail. Everyone 'ere loses somefing from time ta time, but a love lost is a sorry fing to misplace.
+1 Melancholy
Enough of tha, what bout rivals or people ye hate? Who out thar do ye hate ta most?
"My own parlor or dining room. My coffee is better anyway."
Are you a hedonist? Which vices do you have a weakness for, and which fail to tempt you, when they might tempt anyone else?
The Masters, of course.
The Revolutionaries just want to tear and burn. The Masters probably wish the same fate for London, butā¦ at least, if I prove my worth to them, Iāll die with my head full of secrets.
And now, another choice for you: heaven or hell?
The Church or the Devils?
The revolutionaries, without a second thought. Itās scary how good a fit a cabbal of robed alien chiropterae was in a city of aristocrats, factory bosses, scabs and bobbies. I still have this scar on the head from the big dock riots of '93. Hurts every time the wind blows from the Northā¦

Alas, bested by the powers that be!
Iād have to go with the Church. Devils are fascinating, no doubt about it, but their obsession with hoarding souls is distasteful and disconcerting. And as I was reminded last week by a passing urchin, if souls are of no consequence, why do they so desire them?
So, what was the first trip you took after leaving London for the first time?
edited by fadi_efendi on 6/6/2016
Dirae Erinyes: āA journey of Scientific discovery! Which is mostly sailing to small, uninhibited islands and beach combing.ā
What friends have you lost in London?
I do not remember doing so.
Who pays your weekly rewards?
Ezekiel: Asshole boss. Hopes he dies in fire.
Eli: sips coffee and says nothing
Many of us tend to be Jack of All Trades down here, mostly out of necessity. It begs the question, what is your āofficialā profession. As in, what do you write on your calling cards?
Dirae Erinyes: āCorrespondent.ā
Evensong: āSecretary at the Foreign Office.ā
Whatās a profession you would never list, even if you have done it?
I am a shipās Captain. It is how I choose to be addressed as well. I am also professionally involved in the Lonshoremen and Zailorās Union.
Iāll repeat the question as I find the possibilities intriguing.
What is your āofficialā profession, as in, what do you write on your calling cards?
Well, one doesnāt usually call oneself a "Spy" or "Secret Agent" in publicā¦ ;)
Midnighter/Canon.
Which profession would you add to FL if you could?
Eli: I had to work hard. I know a couple of people who could stand to give it a shot. The Flowerdene Initiative didnāt spring out of magical amber caves or haunted ruins filled with irrigoā¦ It rose from the money that I made from having a job.
Ezekiel: Second most dire price Ezekiel had to pay wasā¦ Everything. Most dire thing? Everything else.
What will your tombstone say? What will it look like? Where will it be? Glitter?
Dirae Erinyes: āLast words were: This will be fun.ā Iām hoping Iāll have enough money after that misadventure for a full on crying angel. Maybe one surrounded by smaller crying angels.
Those who donāt like would probably make sure I got buried somewhere were the lightening or thunder canāt reach me. Hopefully it wonāt be in Irrigo. Glitter would be nice.
Evensong: āLoving Wife, hard to kill. I want birds and flowers. Also candles. Lots of candles.ā
Whereās the best pie shop in London?
Ezekiel: Fleet Stā¦
Eli: Nope.
pass question
I think I know the one you mean, on Fleet St. I canāt say Iām fond of the place. It has a bit of an odd feeling to it - which is saying something down here - that Iām never really comfortable with. Iām not sure whether it is the decor, or something about Mrs Lovett, but I am often unsettled. I wrote an article about it in my newspaper some time ago. Iām sure Iāve got a copy around here somewhere, if you want it.
If you find yourself out and about, and you canāt get home, where would you choose to stay for the night?
