Forum game: Ask the character!
&quotDon’t go through the basement passage until your a very good thief and always keep away from the royal family down there. On the surface level, there are the servant passages if you are good at disguises. And of course there is always a passage through the library. . .&quot
&quotWhat does those gathered here think about the Royal Family?&quot
They are a marvelous example of a Royal Family and set good role models for others. In no way would I bad mouth them. Especialy since a certain princess is a aquaintence of mine who would probably take ill to such bad mouthing.

What do you think the greatest danger in all the Neath is?

Probably the Stone Pigs, I remember when I was zailing…oh dear…anyways, this was probably not the best choice but considering how many things try to kill you down here I couldn’t really remember many things.

What is the best book you read down here? If you ever read any, that is.

I was hard pressed to think of a book specific to the Neath. I tend to read Surface writers.

I found Collar very compelling, and Terra Cotta Erotica deserves an honorable mention for addressing a practical subject many would not dare to touch.

What do you think of the Bohemians?
edited by Lamea Lawless on 5/14/2016

Thought they were a lot of useless vagabounds up until I saw 'ow they run things. Can’t really deny or not tip my hat to a bunch that run a tight ship like that. But the ones that drink through the dens like like it’s milk straight through the womb bothers me to no end.

Bohemians are only one group in Neath, which out there carries your favor?

Unsurprisingly I am most closely affiliated with Wolfstack Docks. This is to be expected as someone who is both a union rep and a Captain in the Navy, in the reserves on half-pay and lent to a Colonial Power.

Does anyone happen to know how I could possibly be a Hellfarer if I do not recall ever having gone to Hell?

(this is the case in-game, and I’m damn curious, did I forget something, I feel like I can’t have forgotten an entire trip to Hell for goodness sakes, the Devils and my character are not on good terms generally)

Either one of the options of the fidgeting writer, or the fate locked part of the labyrinth.

(You don’t go to Hell to become a Hellfarer, it just means you’re Hell-ward bound. I got mine from betraying the Bishop of Southwark’s battle plans to the Brass Embassy.)

(still a mystery I guess, as those don’t sound familiar to me either, I don’t think I’ve ever finished the fidgeting writer, and I’ve only just bred the Hound of Heaven like two days ago, one heck of a surprise for a Cat I’ll say, having a Snake give you puppy-dog-love-eyes, YICK )

You don’t finish the fidgeting writer, its like the third option.

Ahh, then I bet that was it. I know I’ve started the early stages a few times. Some I’ve bailed on, others I’m still saving for a big run. So I probably accepted one of those. Thanks Suinicide, much appreciated.

Ezekiel: Will just drop question here. Bad hangover. Not in answering mood.

What scars do you bear from time in the Neath? Mental, physical, spiritual? All three?

&quotI have tiger bites, claw marks, burn scars, and my personal favorite, a bullet scar on the lowermost part of my left shoulder blade. A young man (a child, really) was hoping to make his name by dueling me. I refused. He shot me in the back. Mercy always pays, doesn’t it?&quot (She laughs.)

I think this is a question many people would like to answer, so if no one minds, I’d like to repeat it for the next person.

Goin’ ta ignore the fact this is being passed around like a used cloth. But I tend to keep to Medusa’s Head from time to time. Rough housing with the blokes there is a good way to know which technique is gain’ popularity and what’s bein’ used in the streets. So course I got some nice scratches and bruises from my time there. Honestly doubt anyone can go a week in the Neath without a scratch or too.

Anyone that feels like showin’ off can keep goin with this question. But if no one feels like giving a slight tease than answer me this: ever had any near death experiences?

I bear no physical or spiritual scars. As for mental ones… I have forgotten. What were we talking about again?
We were talking about how much of a braggart you are that not even irrigo can dull it!

But answering Amelia, I once choked on a mug of swill from Medusa’s Head very badly. Saw the boatman.

What’s your ideal marriage candidate?

Agata: Hm, marriage isn’t for me. Sorry. I… I just don’t think I will be able to, even after the period of mourning ends.
Maria; Hm, beautiful of course! Smart, nice. And female!

Eli: Ah… I don’t know if I can find it in me to marry for love… but I would agree to a political marriage if the benefits were high enough for the children and the Initiative at large.

Ezekiel: No comment.
Eli: Didn’t I see you talking to that tomb-colonist once?
Ezekiel: That is very, very private.

You will answer question…
Not all of people use weaponry to deal with problems, but if had to, what would be weapon of choice?

I find that the Caminus Yards ‘Hellthrasher’ is an excellent gun, though still highly experimental. If you are a traditionalist then I should suggest you go with an old staple, the Cotterel and Hathersage ‘Denunciation’. Both are excellent deck-guns.

Oh! You mean personal weapons? Sorry. I’ve used some in my time, but my claws generally suffice. I can’t really answer that, maybe a ratcatcher’s firearm, I recall the butt-stock was quite good in hand-to-hand.

For a question I think I shall ask this of the brawlers: If you like a good bar-brawl, and I know that I certainly do, where do you prefer to get your brawling in?

Well, I don’t drink. But I used to like to pick fights at the Medusa’s Head, before I was banned.

Here’s one: Ever hit anyone particularly important? Or fought an exceptional fighter, and won?
edited by Lamea Lawless on 5/17/2016

Eli: I came very close to defeating Feducci in a formal non-lethal duel twice, before he decided only to accept Black Duels from then on. On another time, I won by cheating a lot and lost by disqualification. Hm, I was reckless back then… It almost seems like it was yesterday.

Ezekiel: Ever heard of the Loud-Mouthed Journalist? Definitely heard from him, if close by. Not around anymore. Just disappeared one day. Too bad, so sad. Not exactly important person, but people were looking for kidnapper for months to buy them drinks.

You must answer question…
What do you carry with you on a normal day? If you were to turn out your pockets, what would be found?

Depends on where I’ve been for ta day. Though usually it’s whatever is in another blokes pockets.

For that matter, any one here ever been out to the Unterzee? If not, thoughts on zailors?
