Nay, not even the constables will prevent me from interacting with the poor, poor, Rubbery Men.
On a different question, "What race intrigues you the most obviously not including those on the surface."

But has there been something you regretted!?

(Rysiek)
The case of the disappearing comtessa. I don’t know if I did right. I also regret having come closer to the darned devils. And not filling the cheery man with lead. He wrecked my mentors life.
(Maria)
Je ne regrette rien.
(Maria)
The royals. So much delicious money. That is why I love the palace.
(Rysiek)
Those damned, verdammte, f***ing devils, Kurwa. Wonder how I could blow up hell?
(Questions)
What is your favorite area?
This is an excellent question. I have to admit that I still bear some fondness for Wilmot’s End, even though I am less engaged in the Game as of late. Veilgarden is unmatched as far as entertainment is concerned, while the good old University has a lot to offer for a person of refined taste.
After my recent visit to the Elder Continent, where I beheld most educational sights such as talking animals of all kinds, I started to wonder about London’s own L.Bs - who are they really working for, what’s their agenda, things like that. What’s your best guess?

Я heard they want to take over the Neath. Maybe it is true
(Rysiek)
Well, Who do we people as a race really work for, what do we do as an Mission? Care to answer? So thought I.
If you had a chance to get a thing from the Surface what would it be?
Well, I think I may have left the iron on…
A tan would also be nice.
Speaking of which where would be your ideal Neathy holiday/vacation location?

I heard Port Carnellian was nice. But actually, I would stay in London. If you are tired of London, you are tired of life, maam. And the Zea is dangerous. Not a place for ya.

Wherever beautiful ladies are. Are you a virgin?
A virgin? No, but for having been down here as long as I have I’ve had very few partners. I experimented with a Starving Artist once, and now he won’t leave me alone. I dated a Rising Model for awhile, but she never challenged me. Perhaps my most prolonged engagement was with the Barbed Wit, but that was lust, not love. And I fell in love with a Constable, once. The best. But that was a long time ago and I was not nearly then what I am now. She left. Had to get away from people from whom I couldn’t protect her for long.
I’m not going back to Newgate, do you hear me?! And although I of course would NEVER venture afoul of the law, one must be mindful of who one lets into one’s confidences or one’s bed. For now I’m married to the Game.
Sacksmas isn’t far off, and soon lacre will be in abundance. What has been your most heartbreaking disappointment?
Passionario rolls his eyes across the room.
…oh, there she is.
Do you play chess?
Avidly.
It takes a bit of effort to find a good partner though.
I’ve been talking this over with others here - what will be the Sixth City?

If I have a say in this, it will be St. Petersburg, since I will send it here myself. Ну Погоди, щар Николаи Романов!
(Rysiek)
If I ever return to the surface, I hope not the place where I will be. If I won’t and will survive the fall, I hope it will be New York or Paris.
Is there a group you hate?
Contrary to what Huffam’s slander would have you believe, that group is not called ‘everybody’. Yes, I’ll be the first to admit that I have been notably cruel to a very diverse and broad range of people and things, but I insist that I have almost never done so out of hatred. Duty, love, fear, even force of habit - but not hatred.
That said, if the Calendar Council was to spontaneously perish tomorrow, I would sponsor a citywide parade to celebrate the occasion.
Is there anyone in the Neath whom you secretly envy and would trade places with in a heartbeat?

That concept is Absurd, so I have to say no.
(Maria)
The duchess, she is rich and has cats. Much better than that zdrajczynia of an empress. She appears to be disliked.
Where would you go, if you were able to return to the surface?

Myrese:
I prefer not to rely on luck. Hard work and extensive preparation are far better friends, I find. However, when Lady Luck is inclined to be kind, I do not turn her away. A piece of luck almost literally fell in my lap quite recently.
I woke up one frosty night to find an urchin singing on my rooftop. As a good night’s sleep was essential to the work I was planning to do next day, I politely asked him to leave, using my rife (unloaded of course! I do not know where people get these dangerous misconceptions about firearms safety). Rather surprised, he reflexively launched his sock at me to confuse the expected attack and bounded off. Not only was his sock made of some VERY nice Surface-wool, there was a diamond inside! All-in-all, the urchin-equivalent of a gold-plated gun.
My turn, then. What is your favorite time of year?

Ah, late spring, when fields of les coquelicots bloom, a red as bright as a kiss, or blood, or love, or a bite, when the sun returns to embrace the earth, when to shed one’s clothes and bathe in the fresh springs is an eternal delight… but such days are in the past now and were not themselves so Edenic as I recall. C’est la vie.
I prefer winter in the 'Neath. In the dark and cold that encloses the mind like an eggshell, it is easier to dream of what once was. And not to fear what might be.
My question to the next: what is it you most fear?
edited by La Melusine on 12/12/2015
I fear loss. Only when you lose things you realize they have value.
Do you have a plan this Christmas?
Drink laudanum. Sleep deeply. Wake on the first of January when all of this has blown over, or so one hopes.
Do you have reoccurring dreams? What about? Where do they stem from?

Pyro: A clifftop, the looming Thunder and a fleet of ships. I’ve been here at Zee for weeks now and I still haven’t spot anything that looks like that accursed scene and that ghostly fleet. I don’t know where they came from. Perhaps the Zee is calling me home?
Rudolph: .Sorrow Spiders. Scares eyes. Spiders come from mirror. Why not go back to mirror?
If you’ll be a Master for a day who will you be at what totally magnanimous action would you first do?
I would be Mister Games, both of skill and of chance. I would probably do something about Marvellous - either make it a weekly event or ban it altogether.

Anyone can be a neddy man, no? Anything can change one, too, you just need to get lucky and hit the right spot. Both literally and figuratively.

Spidey-senses?
Of all the NPC’s in Fallen London, who would you 1. Kiss? 2. Marry? 3. Kill? (up to you if permanently) :)
