Well, you ask on the forums! (or Reddit or Discord I guess but we here are much cooler) You could also convince people you know in real life to play. Anyway, I’ve got a contact for you right here

You can try the Send a calling card storylet, and use the Suggest a contact option. The game will offer you a username that has recently been active, and you can have a look at their profile and decide whether this is what you’re looking for. The previous advice works well too
