I’m not sure if this question has been asked in this way, but do any of you folks have a favorite season finisher? The ES’ comprising the season don’t count here.
I just played through the Season of Ruins and it was brilliant. Absolutely top notch, lots of great stuff.
I also really liked the finisher for the Season of Sceptres (that was a fun time)
I remember Skies being pretty short, if interesting. Don’t remember Wrecks at all. Silver I wasn’t really paying attention. Heart’s Blood was pretty bland.
I don’t think I could choose a favorite, simply because almost every conclusion was lovely. The only one that doesn’t stand out was Heart’s Blood, and that could just be the work of time.
I played Heart’s Blood recently and it was short and contained little of interest - it’s basically a bunch of folks eating food at the Apicius Club and falling over because they can’t stomach it.
Note: I’m not including the individual stories here. I’m more curious as to thoughts on the conclusions proper.
Ah yes, my poll was about the Seasons as whole entities. As for the bonus stories alone, I liked them all, with Skies and Sceptres really standing out for me.
Heart’s Blood’s was little more than a snippet, that’s true, but it was funny.
Ah, it’s about the season’s ending?
Then I have to say, I can’t remember the name of the season on top of my head, but the one with the Boatman. For some particular reason it sticked more with me than the others. As well as the one where you have to Pray to Saint Joshua at the end (or you can lie and not forget).
If anyone can tell me the names, I’d be grateful!
