This is fabulous, delicious! :D
Oh, I love both of them!
Is it all right if I print the mouse for my godchild to paint?
Thanks!
Of course
The same week for Fallen London’s anniversary and my dance studio’s costume party, so… guess who is going there as the Priest King of the First City.
(Gimme. All. The. Brass.)
My dear husband, the Exceptional Weasel, a paragon of style!
…and the happiest one ever!
Weasels! More weasels!
Wonderful art, but that poor cricket…
Thanks!
It isn’t FL if no one gets eaten :)
New Manager art! Holy Judgements! NOT DISSAPPOINTED.
Any theories about how it will end? Just curious.

I definitely hear it in a Clay Man’s voice.
Thank you!
Honestly, after what we’ve got in other Ambitions, I’m ready for literally anything.
I tried to put together what we know, however. And some of my guesses.
(SPOILERS!)
The Topsy King
Desire (known):
To get his sanity back. (Nevertheless, even if he does, I headcanon that he will voluntary choose to stay in the Flit instead of returning to the Court.)
Stake (known):
The rest of his mind.
The Bishop
Desire (unknown):
Most likely still the same as in "The Flint": to become something other than a Snuffer.
Stake (unknown):
I’d bet on his current face and position: it is certainly important to him, but replaceable enough to risk it. And quite in line with the idea of unusual stakes.
Virginia
Desire (known):
To ensure that the betrayed Prince of Hell won’t come after her.
Stake (unknown):
No idea. Her mayoral power won’t last long anyway… Her majestic leopard hat is already gone… However, the devils are full to the brim with enticing offers, aren’t they? I expect something truly extraordinary.
The Manager
Desire (semi-known):
Surely connected with the King with a Hundred Hearts, but in which way? I doubt that he just wants to make the King love him again: it would be anything but love. Forgiveness, too, can’t be forced. So instead it may be some way to free the King. (Especially considering his words about the Liberation of Night.)
Stake (semi-known):
A location. This is all we have as a teaser/spoiler.
My own guess would be the location of the Garden:
- He may have learned it from his uncle, the Capering Relicker;
- Some of the players (the Bishop and the Masters) do want it.
Mr. Pages
Desire (known?):
To prevent whatever we were up to (blowing up the Bazaar, intervening in the bargain for the Sixth City, going North). Or… no?
Stake (unknown):
As a Master, he has no shortage of options here. Who knows what else could be hidden in the vaults of the Bazaar?..
The Monkey
Desire (unknown):
My only theory for now is that she has been a player of the Marvellous before and lost her human form – in the same way as the Topsy King lost his mind – and it’s a chance to get it back.
Stake (unknown):
What does a monkey have to offer?.. Judging by her attraction to prisoner’s honey, I can’t help but suspect that she has something Parabolan up her sleeve. (Despite that she doesn’t even have sleeves.)

You remind me of this gem:
Thank you for the Synopsis! I had forgotten entirely what the rest of the players were up to.
Well, it turns out I wasn’t entirely wrong :)
Wrote a review as well. (Full of spoilers, too.)
Splendid!
Psst, I don’t see the Chapel of Lights either
Thanks!
I was going to remake it. Probably later.
Dedicated to all who get distracted by their pets while working from home.
(Inspired by Mesopotamian sculptures.)
