Hello, delicious friends. It is once again time to talk about upcoming attractions in Fallen London.
Fallen London: The Roleplaying Game Kickstarter
Some players have already had the chance to try out Fallen London: The Roleplaying Game, and it’s heartening to report that they enjoyed it! Lots of the comments were along the lines of: it felt like I hoped it would feel, or that it was really like playing a story from the browser game with a table of friends.
The Quickstart guide will be available in the coming weeks and the Kickstarter will follow. We’ll let everyone know when these things are happening but if you want to keep your nose firmly pressed on the glass to see when it goes live, you’re best to follow the Kickstarter page itself.
The Feast of the Exceptional Rose
The annual festival of masks and masked trysts returns, starting on February 6th and running through February 27th. You’ll be able to spend Masquing starting February 13th.
As usual, this edition of the Feast brings new companions, as well as access to past Feast of the Rose stories – such as the ever-popular Nuptial Phantasies. But we’re also including a few additional surprises – more on this when the festival launches.
New additions to the Waswood
The Starved War and Coilheart Games stories make their way to the Waswood, allowing players to replay (or see for the first time) the stories of the last two Estivals.
Starved War will be available starting on Thursday, February 20th. The Coilheart Games come to the Waswood on Thursday, April 17th.
Firmament Chapter 4
Your sleep is vivid with gilded battlegrounds, fevers of conquest, and feast-tables that stretch to eternity. There is another Burgundy, resolute, unconquerable, eternal. It is a Burgundy of the heart, and like all things of the heart, it longs to be made manifest.
The next major update to Firmament, expected to come in early March. Journey with the Last Duchess to her home, Ghent, the last survivor of medieval Burgundy. Discover its past; influence its future.
Firmament is Fallen London’s currently-ongoing major story, free to all players. It can be started after reaching Ealing Gardens through the Railway storyline, and begins from an opportunity card in London.
More Candlefinder Society!
The response to the initial launch of Candlefinder Society has been exceptional. We plan on continuing to support this with more stories for quite a while. The first addition is expected to come in April.
Whitsun
The festival of eggs and curious creatures returns on May 8th, running through May 21st. London will be once again beset by strange eggs – hatch them, raise the curious things that come out of them. Make some of them into hats, others into pets.
