Thank you all for your hard work throughout the years. Fallen London, as well as the Sunless games, have given me a lot of joy over the years, and I intend to play for a while yet.
Really! Truly, the Failbetter team is too kind! Thank you!
Enjoying your game so much. Thank you and happy Birthday!
ETA: And as a LGBTQ+ woman it is good that I can feel so represented in the game even from the beginning, and have things handled tastefully.

I’ve played this game for over six years, and while I’ve stopped being as active recently, Fallen London and Sunless Sea have had a tremendous impact on my creative style. Still waiting on a computer that can run Sunless Skies properly though :(
Also, in honor of the anniversary, Hannah has been revealing trivia on the Discord! So far, we now know that there are 133 Hesperidean Ciders and 33 Heptagoats in circulation.

Happy birthday Fallen London! And thank you Failbetter for all you’ve done over the years.
It’s a shame you can’t see anywhere how old your account is. I know I started playing right after Echo Bazaar was featured on Extra Credits.

I was introduced by that fine channel as well,(deleted my old account foolish me)
It’s a shame you can’t see anywhere how old your account is.
But you can approximate! Your first echo dates all the way back to March 2011. :)

I would love to know if anyone who was there at the very beginning is still playing!
I’ve no idea–I can’t even remember when I started playing! I definitely did not start at the very beginning–I wasn’t around to get an Amber Carnival Token, for example. But I was around close to the beginning, I think.
You must’ve been very close to the beginning indeed, Cathy! Your first echo is from 22 Dec 2009 - and I’ve never found one from before 30 Nov 2009.
Apologies for the profile snooping, but this is very interesting! :)

I think I’m quite old as well. n_n
Smart! It’s not a New Newgate echo so I guess I had been playing for a bit already by then.
My own earliest echoes seem to be mostly the ends of stories. Along with one or two that I found amusing:

Here are more daily access codes from Discord.
Tuesday: Fallen London
Wednesday: Fallen London
Many thanks, Menaulon. I would not have known about the codes for Tuesday and Wednesday if not for you. You’ve helped those of us who aren’t on discord.

If this is the case, when was that Amber Carnival Token released?
I also talked about how many rats on a string exist - what do you reckon? (Clue: LOTS)
I’ll start with something around hundreds of millions of rats on a string.
Ooo, ooo, I bet it’s seven. It’s always seven!
