Fallen London Bees in Beneath Ceaseless Skies!

My story the Honey of the World and the Queen of Crows was just published at Beneath Ceaseless Skies. I was heavily inspired by Sunless Sea and Fallen London - the beekeeping nunnery in particular. These stories made me research bees, and I discovered they were considered the carriers of the world’s memory. Then an ass-kicking, sinning nun came in…
So here’s the link, and I hope you enjoy it, too!

Well done! I can see some of the inspiration from the games but also how you made the story your own. I look forward to more!

Thank you! I didn’t even realize Sinning Jenny was in it until I wrote the post.

Yay, it’s here!
Big congratulations and thanks for sharing it with us!

Great stuff – and congratulations! Excellently well done. I look forward to reading it.

Thank you! Hope you like it.

Really really cools story

Recommend this elegant, atmospheric story very strongly. Clever plotting, a couple of unexpected turns. Off now to find more of your stuff, Jolanda.
