Exceptional Stories and Where to Find Them

As you may have noticed, we’ve been trialing different ways to present a season of Exceptional Stories. After experimenting, we’ve settled on a method that will allow us to keep the linked Exceptional Stories for each season together in one place.
From now on, Exceptional Stories of the current season can be unlocked through the following path:

 • A card will appear throughout London, such as this month’s The Season of Stones. This card will act as the initial introduction to the current season. [/li][li]Then, a hub card such as The Season of Stones: The People Awakening, will appear throughout London. All three of the Exceptional Stories for the season will live here for the duration of the season.[/li][li]In order to officially start the current Exceptional Story, or save it for later, find the corresponding starting branch, in this case, Unlock the Clay Man’s Arm. You’ll know that you have unlocked a story when you see: [You have unlocked this month’s Exceptional Friend story.]

We hope this has clarified any questions that may crop up based on this new system for Exceptional Stories. It’s also worth noting that moving forward, Exceptional Stories will not reside in the House of Chimes.

Any questions can be sent to support@failbettergames.com.

Can we have instructions like &quotin this case…&quot every time, please. Because it seems to be beyond me to unlock these things properly now, and I have lost access to two EF stories as a result.

I don’t suppose you’d consider restricting the seasonal hub cards to the lodgings. Having the hubs pinned at the top of every location, month after month, has gotten a little tiresome.
