Ealing Station

I thought the next station was at jerico locks?

It is, but Helicon House is apparently some location of interest around Ealing. Doesn’t seem possible to get there yet, though.

As far as Ealing goes, it’s a bit odd how the workmen grumble about you building up the commercial district when there’s no alternative choices available for developing the area. It’s either that or just don’t build anything.

Helicon House is now open. The cards provide new options that allow you to visit it.

Oh hey, a new card!

I wondered a while ago why the ‘white’ option was missing, and now it’s there, cool.

Dang, you need to be White at the Chessboard to do that. I’m still 37 points away from that. Red can increase Darkness but not lower it, I would have expected it could play either side or neither.

Any idea if there are similar cards in the other stations? It doesn’t currently seem possible to lower Darkness is Jericho or Evenlode.

Either I’m really unlucky or Jericho Locks doesn’t have this card.

Same with Evenlode.

Thanks dude.

By the way, I am assuming it’s Standard Frequency. The screenshots didn’t show the frequency.

UPDATE: From your screenshot, I deduce that the drop in Advancing is just 1 CP. Also, I don’t remember ever coming across that blue candle picture - despite having had experience with Seeking content.

Thank you for creating a wiki page, I’ll try to fill up empty parts when I’m back at Ealing (grinding for a watchtower right now). Can’t remember LoN drop, but it’s small, most likely 1 cp. And yes, it’s a standard frequency.

I haven’t done seeking, but I’ve seen that candle before. It’s not the most common candle image, but it’s used now and again.

I already added it on the wiki but for those who are curious this is actually candlemilkyblue.png

Difficulty for an empassioned speech is 175 for me with 1 point of Supporting the Liberationists Tracklayers. Can someone more supportive of them record the difficulty? It seems for me like 150+25 per point of support.

New option under ‘Tour the Neighbourhood’ in Ealing called ‘Track rumours you’ve been hearing’ which will apparently open up a new area that will also allow you to raise your maximum shapeling arts. It requires investigating 5 and a ‘Key of Dreams’. Apparently you cannot take this action when you have acquaintance with Helicon House.

EDIT: After some digging on the wiki, I’ve found out that the key of dreams is a developer only item. This probably means that the new area is currently impossible to access and is just there for testing purposes. Oh well.

EDIT 2: The option is gone now. A fleeting glimpse of the future. Makes sense though, as we’ve got the conflict in Parabola to deal with before we’re able to delve into rubbery art.

And now its accessible

Imgur

While I voted on the side of our current Mayor, I suspect this insight may vindicate those who believed in the Tentacled Entrepreneur’s integrity.

Also, upon noticing the new rising stat gained by “offering” Forty-Nine Voiced Warblers in the Viscountess’ old stomping grounds in the Viric Jungle, it suddenly struck me that I was utterly opportunistic in the struggle between cats and snakes for supremacy until getting to know a certain Turbulent Tabby. DAMN that loveable old blob of fur, he’s done more to make me pick a side by existing than literally every other relevant storylet combined.

The Return of the Honey-Mazed Bear is now a storylet. Great. Now I won’t have to live with the card eternally stuck in my hand. And no, the bear is now mine, I won’t let the urchins play a joke on me again.

I’ve embraced my true destiny. I will hunt that bear forever, even after all the stars in the sky go out and the Cosmogone sun shatters. It’ll be me and that stupid bear, just duking it out in the darkness. And the carnival urchins too, I suppose. Have to get my tea from someone. Extremely glad to see I won’t have to draw the card to return it anymore, though.

Finally! So long, shark.
