Aww, no Newspaper Magnate of the Ancient Regime for those of us who maxed out our newspaper levels the old way? I’m still scarred by the whirling contraption grind on that one…

It was clear the good times would not last long. Still, if the masterwork newspaper editions are close to the former profitability of standard editions, then it is a fair trade.

Nice to see it tied to the bone market content, although the new edition does not seem very profitable to me.

Wilmot’s End changes were part of the Winter Balance Patch. I feel like a full half of the changes in the patch slipped under the community’s collective radar because of everything that happened at once. Take a look at the full list:

Just glad I got all of my newspaper qualities to 10 before this! …but yes, I did a lot of starting a newspaper and then waiting to draw cards to see which type of copy to pursue.

I don’t even remember when i got this Whirring Contraption, but boy am I glad it’s here in my figurative back pocket to go look at the new content with.

So glad I finished grinding my second goat before this change hit.
