I just accidentally deleted a Mood Card which I’d been hoarding for months.
Ah well, I’m not going to be ready for Courier’s Footprint for a few weeks at least, so maybe another one will show up by then.

You have my complete sympathy. Last time I tried the Fidgeting Writer, I started with 100 Senses of Deja Vu and ended up with not a single Coruscating Soul. Not one!
It turned out alright! My next round I used something like 400 tales and got 14 souls, which was pretty good!
Congratulations!
And sigh. I may try again in the near future, now that my main has the Impossible Theorem she desired.
Ive bought the fate-locked part of Aunt story. No lore. No story or decision to make. No decent reward. Its so frustrating…
Which ending did you choose? If you send the Aunt to work with Mr Wines, you unlock a card with a 70% chance of gaining 1 CP Wounds and a 30% chance of refreshing 10 actions.
That ending. But it looks like 10% refreshing and 90% wounds.

It’s nominally 30% (confirmed by looking at it in mobile app), but in my experience it actually only succeeds 10% of the time.
Not particularly painful for me, but very much so for my character: Just now failing a 92% chance four(!) times in a row, and getting half stabbed to death by young Lyme with a cheese fork.
After a month-long dry spell, I finally drew a mood card last week! After being up with an unhappy baby, I accidentally discarded it this morning
Oh hell. Though having myself only ever drawn two mood cards in my entire time playing the game, you’ll have to forgive me if I’m laughing behind my hand while attempting to offer sincere condolences.
Same thing happened to me a few days ago. I have trouble with the app, so when I’m on my phone I usually play on the browser anyway. And I just held down the Discard button a little too long…
Not huge, but… ugh. Being close to acquiring a new address at the Bazaar, I’ve been trading in Appalling Secrets for Whispered Hints (about my least favorite Unfinished Business, but at least it gets me there). Twice today - twice - I have traded in an Appalling Secret and gotten in return… 1 Whispered Hint.
Came up with a good concept for a new alt–Yay!
Gotta deactivate my current alt to create a new one!
Remember said alt had 7 Darkdrop Coffees -and- another action-restoring item from the last Sackmas. -After- deactivating the account.
Sigh.
My two biggest failures:
Losing my soul. It was foolish of me to flirt with devils. I thought there was no harm in a simple conversation, but I was wrong. I intend to get my soul back, and exact my revenge upon the seductress who stole it from me. Eventually…
Thanks to a misclick, I snipped my bold little vegetable in the bud after months of caring for it. I’ve only recently begun to grow a replacement sprout. Here’s hoping this one lasts longer.
Got a Starvling Cat from a bundle of oddities. Have mercy on my soul.
See I really enjoyed it! Great writing and humour! To each their own, hu?
Although you remind me that I truly did not enjoy the Trade in Souls. So I’ll add that to here.

Argh! I spent weeks grinding Notability to get my Watchful to 207 in preparation for SotC increasing, only to click the wrong option on a dream card and have it reduced by 1 CP. Now I’m going to have to grind that Notability all over again!
Giving away all my dreams instead of a stone-tentacle key during the course of Heart’s Desire was a pretty decent failure, on my part.
I also bought A Trade In Souls believing the part about the regretful soldier would be included within it, and was rather disappointed when I learned that was not the case.
I have been slowly building up notability for when I need it for SMEN. Just threw the amanuensis out by accident. Lost two points of Notability after only just getting my 8th point.
Right back at it, I guess…
I ended up forgetting to log on during the lacre event so i had barely enough lacre to go underground but not, well, do anything interesting really.
I just wanted a package, but I mis-clicked and now I lost all my notability :(
