Acquire Alight With Passion quality (Ultra-temporary +30 PRSV)
Flip out and spend nex on extra actions with which to grind Persuasive vs. normally-tantalizing-yet-impossible challenges which are suddenly "Modest" or better.
Manage to fail such a high percentage regardless that Scandal is teetering on the cusp of 8 by the time $-candle is exhausted.

Not choosing between the Missionary and the Firebrand for ages because I didn’t trust either of them and didn’t realize that there was more to their storyline after that.
And, after painfully eking out the route to the Nadir, staying inside too long trying to get something useful out of it and not noticing how I was rapidly approaching a limit of irrigo, even though I’d been firmly warned of the limit.
Another zailing one - forgetting to have enough MW to protect my Notability, oversleeping so I didn’t get back to London before Time came calling and then having masquing turned into enough MW to protect me for two weeks … after I lost a level.
Literally just happened- been hunting the Skin of the Bazaar card to get SFiG 60 for a while. Drew it the other day, been saving it in my hand until the RNG gives me enough opp cards to get SotC to 10
Today, accepted a Polite Invitation without thinking, clearing my hand. Whoops. edited by Vicarus on 3/20/2015
Consumed the Gaoler’s Honey. Visited a unique area. Used a couple of actions there and left. Found out less than a minute later that A: That area had several unique Cards available, some of which even give Fate and B: There’s no way to go back there. Ever.
Nevermind the fate, really. It’s the fact that I’ll never, ever get to see those cards that really burns. Even if I start up an alt at some point, I’ll be pursuing a different Ambition, so I won’t get anywhere near the red honey…
Does it count if it’s a hardware failure? My computer decided to die on me. D: On a brighter side, at least now I should be able to play Sunless Sea. I didn’t think my 7 year old desktop would be able to handle it. [li]

Oh, how I envy you. If only I could turn back time and never pick those d___d cards. If only I listened to the tiny voice that begged me to stop and resisted the urge to gorge on Fate until I got forcibly kicked out of the Chambers. Of all the choices I’ve made in Neath, this is one thing I regret the most.
(You’ll understand once you get to the garden and learn the true price of red honey)
I’ve gone to the nadir, missed all the good cards, came out with an epa of ~1.5- and promptly went mad from too many nightmares. that was yesterday. I should have stayed in there longer, and just accepted the stat debuffs. oh well…
In a haze of sleep deprived confusion I mistook the sell your plant icon for the cider dream icon and had an unfortunate misclick.
My poor Singular Plant, Little Saint Lily, who was but a few cp off of level 19 and who has been my constant companion and loyal friend since my very first days here in the neath is now gone and passed away. This was a terrible loss of a dear friend at a time when I have given up so much already and have little resources left to rebuild my singular plant. RIP Lily, you will be missed ): edited by NiteBrite on 4/10/2015
I discovered that when your Watchful base is over 200 (thanks to Notability), if you lose some Watchful because of a failure on a test, your Watchful base decrease and… you cannot rebuild it except with Notability. I went from 206 to 205. Outch ! >_< Have to grind Notability to 6 again if I want to get my level back. Life in the Neath is hard ! edited by Emain Ablach on 5/1/2015
I remember a failed attempt of mine to rob the Brass Embassy, with 90% casing… alas, I succeeded later - after escaping Newgate prison again - with 40%. I’m still angry about failing with 90% and losing all my connections to Hell though.
