Nah, the Bazaar promised that all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well. And in some destinies, it seems that may even be so. Mr. Eaten prefers that a reckoning not be postponed indefinitely.
Kids. Always complaining about their Christmas presents.:)

Ah, but "presents" implies that we don’t have to pay for the lacre/lodgings. And we kinda do, potentially. With the structural and metaphysical integrity of our bodies and minds, no less!
Yes, but Pyrodium was damning today’s freebie with faint praise.:) Why am I certain that the devs are having much mirth over the fretting people are doing about lacre? I must just have a jaded sense of humanity…
Today’s is better than 7 Appalling Secrets, at least. Though if I were to complain about anything: I’m disappointed day 10 had the bat-related text, and day 13 (today) had nothing to do with bats at all, even though the 13 door on the advent calendar is the one that’s a bat you click on. I suppose the calendar page and the daily rewards were designed separately.
Hmm… tales from the Zee are nice, even Dubious ones, but I think these items are easily grindable even for young folk.
Well, the only ways to grind Dubious Testimony are to stay in certain professions below the highest tier, draw a lot of cards for Criminal Favours into Implausible Penance, or get a lot of gift boxes. It’s one of the rarer items even if doesn’t sell for much, so I consider it valuable!
As far as snow goes, here in the "real world," it is almost 70F near Philadelphia, which is by far a record for this area. (That’s 21C for you modernists). Dunno what it’s like around London, though. No snow in our future, that’s for sure.
I bleedin’ hate Pomerania. It’s juuust cold enough here to annoy everyone, and juuust warm enough to prevent snow from showing up. And now I can’t even get not-snow in Fallen London. How lame is that?

I’m just gauging how useful the items are (especially for younger players) and how delicious each new lore for each day. I guess I was just spoiled with the earlier presents since they either have good items/ mechanics and/or intriguing associated lore.
I just set zail today to Bullbone Island. The whole waiting affair isn’t getting productive for me so I need to avoid it for now and focus on other goals.
Here in northern Greece I cannot remember a sunnier November than the one we’ve just had, and although it’s very cold after sunset (falling to around 0 °C late at night), the weather is still sunny most days, very pleasant in the early afternoon (up to 14 °C in the shade, I read, but I avoid that shade, for it is treacherous).
Meanwhile, I have also tired of this waiting game (rendered more annoying by my inability to compare with previous years, not having experienced another Sacksmas), and have taken Mini-Me down to Flute Street. I don’t expect to stay many days, but it’s an interesting place. And so deep… I’m not even sure how we could possibly be communicating right now.
