First time(s) I’ve reached Renown 50 outside of the original Connections conversion. For some reason, I needed to first abandon the Great Game and delve into the secrets of Parabola to do this without a Mood, though.

I finally got rid of my inferior lodgings. No useless lodging-opportunity cards in my deck anymore. Only the potential of my bazaar-premises. Well, I’ll probably get some more of them back.

At last, all three newspaper qualities at 10! Now to find some new time waster…
An admittedly minor one, but I finished my Ambition up to the content limit.
Also ended up with a second Bat-with-Attitude somehow.
Just got an Impossible Theorem on the first try!
I had about 8 actions left on my alt and no immediate goals, so I decided to do a single attempt at Fidgeting Writer. As far as I remember I’ve never played it on that character before.
This is the result.
I decided never to play it again because I must have used up my luck ;)
My dear companion Inigo Montoya approached me requesting to take on a job that was almost certain to be the end of him. It was a 100% chance of success, but the option came with the warning that even as a success, it was probably a suicide mission. After struggling to make a decision for over 36 hours, I finally let him go because he was the one asking despite knowing well what he was signing up for. He has come back to me, not just alive and well, but in glory! (His name is more apt than I imagined when I first gave it to him.)
Got a card from someone I’d messaged on Tumblr about giving them an Eyeless Skull, long after I’d given up on them messaging me and I’d given the skull away.
To the Forgotten Quarter!
One expedition later, we have a skull again. I understand this is a “rare” outcome.

(I just got ‘A dream about the mist’ after nearly two months of pulling cards. I love the WtTS dreams and I’m looking forward to… a new perspective.)
Got a Rat of Glory from the Advent calendar, burned the damned thing and got seven Searing Enigmas out of it.
I am one more point of Notability away from being a Paramount Presence, and two points away from being a/the Poet Laureate. I suppose I must someday get my Scholar of the Correspondence rating up to snuff, but otherwise I think the next thing to do is finally cash in my candles for cider. I’ve been holding off because my character has tried to keep dying to a bare minimum and has never once lost his soul, and cider just hasn’t seemed like his bag.
I got my soul back from a Bundle of Oddities, after 5 months of trying!
Was promptly offered 1000 Nevercold Brass for it. Laughed my butt off and kicked the fellow out.
