I have watchful 100, Route: forgotten quarter, and my Making Your Name quality says I should go do an expedition. Yet, I only have options to call in favors or seek curios in the forgotten quarter. What am I missing?

The base-camp you’ll need to depart from for expeditions is a separate map location from the forgotten quarter, just to the left of the forgotten quarter proper—are you able to navigate there from the map or is it somehow locked?

Always switch the map to “compatibility mode” in your account preferences. The normal mode is incompatible with human intuition. You would think that by zooming out you could see the whole thing, but nope! Information is actively hidden as soon as you start looking for it
