Through the advent calendar of 1896, one may obtain a Direful Reflection. What are they reflecting upon? But I have begun to suspect what it is. Seekers may obtain seven candles: St Arthur’s, St Beau’s, St Cerise’s, St Destin’s, St Erzulie’s, St Forthigan’s, and their own severed head. I have heard too many of those tales, and almost became one myself.
I suspect that the reflection was about St Destin’s Candle, the candle that does not yet exist. I say this because of my reflection, where I saw a candle burn. But then it vanished, without a trace. Seems familiar, does it not?
Oh… oh great. I have gathered almost a hundred of the things, trying to establish my base in Parabola, and now you suggest this? Gods.

… I’m not sure how to respond to that. This probably isn’t the case, but my mind immediately went to St Destin’s Candle or St Forthigan’s Candle. Considering the circumstances, it was more likely Destin.

… Although, you actually gave me another idea supporting my theory. Eaten has some modicum of control over Parabola, and Direful reflections are involved in the creation of a Parabolan base camp. Therefore, Eaten is involved with Direful Reflections.
