I have completed the 4 quests in the first 4 main areas with the Barrister, but my Person of Some Little Consequence is stuck at 7 and I’m not sure where to go or what to do from here to continue becoming a PoSI.
Any advice?
According to the wiki (A Person of Some Little Consequence - Fallen London Wiki)
"At level 7 four cards appear throughout The Fifth City. They all allow to choose from wide variety of prerequisites needed to advance through the story. However, any option on any card immediately sets progress to level 8, so you can only play one opportunity per character. "
So I think you just have to wait for one of the four cards.
