Only Curator Veils is left, when I got to Day of Bargain I realized I hadn’t ‘thought about sparing it’, so I fled, did that in Think in the Midst of the Hunt, and now I don’t know how to get back to it. In Track Animals, the option is unavailable. Vake of Cogs and Clay was taken on Day 3 and having looked though the wiki I don’t think I can get that back, nor lower Traces of Veils the Curator. I still have Order of Days 4 - Bargain in my Stories tab; hope that’s a good sign that I won’t have to spend 1500-some echos again…

Soooo, anyone know what I can do? Is this a bug?

Oh, and why do you need to use the Think in the Midst of the Hunt to spare it, or at least, why not give the option to do that during the actual hunt for one of the Veils? Seems a bit cumbersome.

That does sound like a bug, yeah. As for why you gotta Think, I dunno-I personally interpreted as some outside force, maybe the Vake itself or maybe not, putting the idea into your head your character otherwise wouldn’t have had. The menacing wind thing seemed to hint in that direction. Not exactly mind control, just-a whisper at a suggestion.

Given its theme of manipulation and reference to Eaten, the outside force is without a doubt Veils of the Third City.

Seems obvious in hindsight, at the time I did find it odd it looked like it was about to offer me something right before it zipped down a hole.
