Quite lovely work there. I find it entertaining that one of the first things I think when looking at this is “They’re sure going to be annoyed when they get back up.” I do so love the peculiarities of the Neath.

Hah, probably.
Well. Two of the zailors there won’t be getting back up. The details are hard to see - but the one on the left is missing the top half of his skull against the stairs, and the one in the middle was not-so-neatly bisected. The others will probably be fine though. Perhaps.
The old rites still hold some power in them.

They won’t be fine. They died at Zee, a long long way from the golden vitality that touches the stolen river.

That and this is Kingeater’s castle. Prices are paid.
