Identity is somewhat mutable in Fallen London, espeically in the case of certain acquintances you can come across seemingly unlimited iterations of after the God-Eaters have taken their soul at the end of a very long, probability-based grind. However after looking over other people’s Ambitions for a while, one stuck out in my mind: The Sardonic Music-Hall Singer, whose abducted sister plays a key role in Ambition: Light Fingers.
She is a character with some substantiated lore behind her in the non-Ambition parts of the game. If I remember right, the Kashmiri Princess confessed to betraying the Singer in order to advance her own career. My question then follows: If you did NOT do Ambition: Light Fingers, does that mean somewhere…her sister is still entrapped in a nightmare of Mr. Fires’ making waiting to be rescued, or does your character’s timeline have other reason for the Singer to be Sardonic?
