Which is more valuable? 300 Moon-Pearls, or 200 Jade Fragments? Yes, I’m trying to decide between two paths, and the rewards are pretty much all equal for me at this point, except for those two rewards. I know moon pearls get me tickets for the carnival, but I can just steal those… I am a rather shady fellow. Not sure what jade fragments lead to other than an eventual thing that I think might be a spoiler, but seems to be a lot of work for nothing too special. A lot of trading in jade fragments for relics of the Third City and so forth and so on. Looks like moon pearls have more uses. Anyone have any advice for a shadowy fellow?

Hrm… I am still at a lower end of things, so maybe I should just go with my gut, and do what I think is right. Rewards be damned. Time to blackmail someone.

The rewards are generally pretty well balanced. For me, the fun of having to make difficult decisions is agonizing over them in character - or, sometimes, acting rashly in character. I knew there would be consequences when I turned around from that mirror, when I told the manager of the Mnemosyne exactly what I thought of him, when I chose friendship over learning Secrets Framed in Gold - but accepting those consequences made the game more absorbing for me.
