A Poet-Laureate

I have come so close, so tantilizingly close, to attaining such an esteemed rank, and yet success now eludes me as my persuasiveness is a few points short of the goal I am now asked to reach.

So I’m guessing I have to gain all fifteen extra points of persuasiveness through my notability to get it?

Yes. You need 290 persuasive to get poet-laureate, which I think is only possible with the Notability boost.

Or wait for a mood.

Had that, wound up exactly two points short of 290. Unfortunate I am that I’d utilized my Notability on something else previously.

According to the wiki, you can get +100 using gear along without fate. Unfortunately, that requires a lot of renown items. Try checking out the page to see where you could make up for it.

Note that number does include a Mood.

By my count, there are 9 points that come from making choices that are mutually-exclusive with some other game content (5 Destiny, 2 Profession, 1 Club, 1 Spouse). That leaves +91 available to anyone, albeit including a Mood and tons of Renown gear.

Copy+paste from some days ago:
This is the only high-end achievement that isn’t restricted on Destiny, affiliation, profession. But missing any of those requires some extra effort on your behalf plus a Mood card.
Hat Mood +30
Clothing +10
Gloves +8
Weapon +10
Boots +5
Companion: +10
Affiliation +1 (Membership of God’s Editors)
Transport +8 (Soc L40 item)
Home Comfort +8 (Church L40 item)

These is the lowest high point any player can achieve if there aren’t any RP restriction! Thing is, they sum up exactly +90.
Me: &quotThe ballet&quot
The Veteran Privy Counsellor: &quotBallet! Ballet! I can’t remember the last time ballet came to the Palace!&quot
Me: &quot… You’re kidding, right? This is approximately the 130th consecutive ballet I’m producing in Court! But it will be the last for a long long while.&quot

 • An occurrence! Your ‘A Poet-Laureate’ Quality is now 21 - Poet-Laureate of the Neath!

Congratulations on your new status! I wrote a lot of ballets myself when I was working toward Poet Laureate–the Tigers can’t get enough of them if you theme them properly.

Jelly. I’m still at like 18 :/ decided it wasn’t worth it with my main. One candle left after all

Made it to the end with Persuasiveness 210 and the mood, together with a not quite optimal set of Renown items. A pity I discovered the Tigers’ love of ballet very late in the process :(
