I’m afraid both the text and the rewards you got were the same as for everyone else.
Hope you don’t regret dumping all those resources into the Short Story now… 
Btw, having played all 6 cases at least once, story-wise I liked The Empty Belfry best. Definitely worth its 10 Fate price tag in my opinion.
Of the free-to-play cases, The Dead Puppet is my favourite so far.
Alas. I was hoping it was different.
Still it was worth it for me, if only for my character’s pride in always being as scandalous as possible. 
And who knows, maybe someone at FB will go back and add an extra storylet for those of us who are mad as a hatter committed to the creative writing process.
At the very least this should have earned Six a trip to the Tomb Colonies.
