Nope, the discard on departure no longer works- or at least not on this card. I took the action for the memory of shores, "perhaps not"ed out of there, and I still had the card. Good to know, if not useful.
Well, if anyone is still interested, but I drew the card on a freshly created alt (literally the fifth card I drew). You can still get unlimited memories, but if you click "perhaps not" the card disappears.
