They're all the same. Pick the one you can most easily afford. If that doesn't decide, pick the one that best suits your character's roleplay.

I have a question: of the options avalible I have:

The way to the temple, pit and shell,
Search the shore
Take the air,
And Piler a large mysterious box.

Which would you recomend I do and why?

I will accept all actions, though I hold the right to refuse for my own reasons. However, if you explain WHY you send me a harmful action like Loitering or Dantes,And I feel the reason good, I will consider it more. http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/Kylestien

I'd suggest getting one of the three remote lodgings (only need one), as it makes better use of your opportunity deck.

After that, get the box if you can, as it cannot be gotten elsewhere, and may even be of some use in the coming year...

I am aiming on getting the upgrade for the Premises on the Bazaar. I still need to actually get the Premises, but after a week of non-stop grinding for Whispered Secrets, I am very close.
I currently have 13 PPTTL and 2 pails of snow, which should be sufficient to get the upgrade, but I still need to fulfill my promise to the Duchess.
My question is, after fulfilling my promise will I still have the necessary PPTTL to get the upgrade?

Well fulfilling your promise to the Duchess costs 5 ptpt, and the spire emporium costs nine. If you help the Duchess before getting the lodging you'll only have 8 and very limited options for raising it. If you get the spire emporium first, though, you'll have four ptpt and can raise it to five with either a soul or the monocle. So as long as you get your upgrade first you should have enough to do both.

Peggy the Nowoman lived to see the Feast. Thank you for the memories, Snow Lady.

I'm happy to accept most social actions except for lethal sparring and loitering suspiciously. Please challenge my plant! Currently not accepting calling cards.

1) Is it possible to get the 5-card hell lodging without losing one's soul?

I found this surprising as well... the Western Tower card barred me from getting the Sanctum if I had my Own Infernal Contract, but Penstock will only let me through if I do have my Own Infernal Contract. I could potentially understand the devils' reluctance to further bargain with someone they already "owned", but I'm curious as to why having my own soul would be an impediment to opening a door on the Sundered Sea.

On an unrelated note, I may have hosed myself buying so much snow from the Urchins... each bucket cost about 150.9E worth of goods, not considering the action cost of grinding goods and reputation. Each bucket produces 3 PtPT: Lacre with the Semiotic Monocle. 5 PtPT: Lacre trades for one Soothe & Cooper Long Box... which sells for 25 Identities Uncovered at the Bazaar, worth 62.5E... effectively trading 251.5E for 62.5E. Or if I wait, each bucket converts to three Direful Reflections, worth 37.5E.

I may have gotten a bit greedy with my PtPT: Lacre 18 and 10 buckets in reserve... upset

Presumably it's to motivate you to sell it to them.

I've got PtPT 6 and 2 Pails. What should I be choosing to get the most interesting results? Do all the options cost 3 Taste?

No. The Long Box costs 5 PtPT: Lacre, and the five-card lodgings cost 9, 8, and 7 for the Spire-Emporium, Sanctum, and Suite respectively. The Remote lodgings all cost 3. The Noman costs 3 today, but rises in price through the month. Searching the Shore and Taking the Air each only consume a single point.

As for what is best, that depends on what you want. Good lodgings are nice to have. The Noman, I believe, unlocks some interesting storylets.

No. The Long Box costs 5 PtPT: Lacre
Notice, however, the while the cost is 5 Taste of Lacre, the requirements to play the option are 6. So if you're after the box, don't go with your last 5 remaining points of Taste of Lacre!
