Grinding and Exceptional Friend

In it they mention that they are planning on decreasing grinding and give further value to Exceptional Friend. I think that is great news!
I am currently grinding whispered secrets so I bought Exceptional Friend yesterday to increase my actions points. I thought that each candle would receive an action point every 10 minutes, but the second candle only starts to fill after the first one is full. So if like me, you usually spend your actions before the first candle is completely full you only benefit from the second candle at the start of each day. That being said, once I finish the stories in The House of Chimes I find very little incentive to buy Exceptional Friend every month, and instead will continue to support the game buying stories.
