If I've sent a request for an interview but move to Hours Before the Deadline 1 before all are accepted, can the interviewees still accept the request, or do I have to be at HBtD 2 for the interview to take place?

I -think- the interview can still happen. I seem to recall having published a paper with outstanding interviews. Before I started the next edition one of those interviews was answered with the usual +3 across the board.
