Is it possible to get rid of unwanted lodgings somehow? I followed bad advice to acquire all the cheap lodgings when I started, and they clutter my deck up with useless cards...

In any case, lodgings are the most consistent sources of Scrap, which can be exchanged at high amounts with the Relickers for items you can't get anywhere else...

depends if you consider 1 scrap per action worthwhile. I don't because I expect there to be some other way introduced to acquire any item that turns out to be important for the story...

Well there already is, for the one that is. But it requires a specific choice on a one time thing, so.

Outside of property cards, Certifiable Scrap is notoriously difficult to come by. Your main source of it at any level is probably property cards, and given the truly ridiculous number of scraps needed to purchase some of the more unique items, the earlier you start, the better. The given advice was sound.
