The Cheery Man or the Constable?

Lawks. Who to pick? Who to side with? On the one hand, my strong sense of morality pushes me towards aiding the Last Constable with her plight, but on the other hand, I know the Cheery Man will line my pockets greatly...
Who did you pick? Do you regret it?

Sir Fred aided the Constable - as you say, on moral grounds - and, while I certainly don't regret that choice, I later saw it suggested that there was an opportunity card to meet with her and learn about her and her experiences, which apparently no longer appears once you've completed her story (unlike the Cheery Man's equivalent, which remains available after story completion.) So, while that wouldn't make me change my choice, it would make me hold off completing the story entirely until I've drawn and played the card and seen all it has to offer.
-- Sir Frederick, the Libertarian Esotericist. Lord Hubris, the Bloody Baron. Juniper Brown, the Ill-Fated Orphan. Esther Ellis-Hall, the Fashionable Fabian.
