I have officially been playing sunless sea for 20 hours (according to steam) and only now did this tragic oversight dawn on me.
This game is about sailing. You are a captain, you command a crew of sailors. You hire experiences sailors as your officers. You sail around a completely pitch black sea-like lake. All this and yet NOT A SINGLE PERSON OR CREATURE CARRIES A COMPASS! It's not in my inventory, it's not on the map screen, it's not even an option at Clathermont's Tattoo Parlour, it's nowhere to be found!
How on earth can I call myself a proper zailor if I do not even own a compass?
