• I've exhausted the possibilities of Ladybones Road, so I need to get to the Forgotten Quarter. But I can't figure out how to get the London street sign that you need to get there. Can anyone offer kind assistance?

Well, you could buy it at the Bazaar for 5 Echoes (at Merrigans Exchange, to be exact). I'm not sure if you can get it that easily anywhere else at that point of the game...

They're available from Bundles, but as those are extremely random, you're better off buying them from the Bazaar.

"The Ways of the Flit" is a Shadowy 40-80 card, and once you have the route to the Flit you get a chance to pick up (or take down, rather) a London Street Sign.

A rare card in the Dock also offers a sign (or if you have high Bizarre, 2-3). But it's a rare card, so.

you can get it from knife and candle 's moon league if you have a certain sponsor. probably not very efficient use of actions though

If access to the Forgotten Quarter is your goal, you can also bypass the need for a sign entirely. There is a mini puzzle you can do to gain entry, though it will increase your nightmares.

If you have a high enough Connected Society, and access to the Shuttered Palace, you can spend a few days at court and trade in your connections for several London Street Signs, though you'll need rather a lot of social connections for that.

You can buy one in the Bazaar, also.

They are fairly common in surprise packages. That or my luck has been very strange.

Of course those require someone else sending you one (or another way you clearly are nowhere near yet), and cost more than just buying one. So

Probably just buy one unless you can easily do one of the other options mentioned.

Though I have already unlocked this, I would hear of this puzzle, do you have time to toss the wiki links at me?

There is an Ambition specific puzzle, I think that everybody else has to use the Street Sign.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Yeah, if your ambition is Heart's Desire, there's an alternative way to attain routes to both the Forgotten Quarter and the Flit.

The HD puzzle is at http://fallenlondon.wikia.com/wiki/Heart%27s_Desire:_Scrawled_Notes_on_the_Walls.
It's fairly minor.

My apologies. I had forgotten that had anything to do with Heart's Desire.

If you're a rather Shadowy individual, should you have the ability and the time, you might be able to snatch a few of these coveted items from a place that only a mad man would try and steal from.

That would be significantly more expensive, in terms of actions per echo, than just earning the money through one of the options available in Spite or elsewhere and buying one from the Bazaar.

Ah, I forgot that access to The Forgotten Quarter only required a single London Street Sign, as opposed to the 15 or so one would get with my suggested course of actions, and as you said, unless you're willing to try your luck a hefty amount, it could take quite a while.
I'm not sure if this was bad luck or a deliberate "this is really hard, so don't try it unless you're absolutely sure you'll succeed" thing, but every time I've tried to rob the Bazaar with anything less than a one-hundred percent chance of success, I've failed.
----A bit off topic, but not quite off the edge----
I had gotten 'A London Street Sign' way back when. When the game was younger and Honey-Addled Detective wasn't even in the works yet. And then it just up and dissapeared(taking my Stormy-Eyed with it)!!
I've never found one since...(until all thes wonderfully helpful people answered you,of course).
