Alternative sources of "the Hunt is On" etc. ?

So I think I understand the logic behind many money making methods.
In some stories, your actions only give you progress points, then you exchange the points for goods.
In other stories, you use progress points to advance the plot, so you get both progress points and corresponding goods.
If you use the later as source of points, and instead of advancing the plot, you exchange the points for goods, then you can profit from it.
Now I know you can get "investigating.." from the University 2nd part, and "running battle..." from the big rat story. Do we have alternative sources for "the Hunt is On", "seeking...", or other progress points?
