How to build things with StoryNexus

Greetings. If I may, I have a few questions.
1: Can someone tell me a bit about Storynexus? As in a beginner's primer on how it works, things to know ETC? I don't intend to make a game, but I AM curious. I feel it important to note at this point, that I have Asperger's Syndrome and thus if you can put is a simply as possible without being condescending it would be appreciated, since sometimes I can have difficulty understand the context behind some ways especially, when it comes to complex game making things like this.
2: I'm also thinking of maybe playtesting/experimenting with other SN worlds a bit to see what's out there. Can you recommend some good ones?
