It's not working for me either, almost 24 hours now. I've cleared my cache and cookies, restarted my browser, restarted my computer, and tried different browsers. Still not working.

I can get to Cabinet Noir but not Fallen London. Well, I can see a cached version of FL, but that's not very helpful to me.

Really sorry some of you are clearly still having issues here - I am sure the devs are sifting through the info you have submitted.

I finally got the game to load, but had to enter the "www." manually twice; once when accessing the intro page and again after I confirmed through Twitter.
I get that this is a DNS error about which no one at Failbetter can do anything, but I still maintain that future technical changes should probably be launched earlier in a week, that way if there is a problem(like this one or like the time the Bifurcated Owl ate all our Heaven Hounds) folks won't be out for the weekend.

A big thanks to Chris "Battleheart" Gardiner for hopping on the forums and giving us an update on an early Saturday morning, though. It is very much appreciated.

I've just gotten EBZ to load by MANUALLY typing in http://www.fallenlondon.storynexus.com

It didn't work just as www. I had to add the Http:// part as well. It also didn't work trying to follow links.
Maybe this will work for someone else, so I'm putting it here.

Do try the laudanum, love. It does wonders for the sanity. New associates always welcome; follow @ladylikeikneel (appears as Kiely King in dropdown menus)

For me, it doesn't work at all through my Verizon FIOS network. However, if I use my iPad's 4G service, I can get to it perfectly. So, it seems some internet providers work while others don't.

Thanks for posting, everyone. The Friday launch was intentional. We released early enough on Friday that we had time to test things and we could have rolled back if we thought this was something other than primarily DNS issues. But it really looks like a DNS thing, and the earlier it's live, the sooner the DNS can sort itself out.

I do understand the frustration if you're one of the few people affected (and judging from the reports, it is just a small number of players - not that that's any consolation if you're one of them!), but it's not something that the weekend makes any difference to right now. We are still monitoring and responding to reports, and we're seeing the issue already resolving itself in the overwhelming majority of cases.

Thanks for being patient, thanks for listening, and most of all, thanks for caring! You are all, as ever, delicious.

I have tried all of the work-arounds - no luck. Browsers Safari, Firefox, Ghost - iPad, Mac

To have encountered a decided lack of connectivity for the last 24 hours. To be engaged in patient expectation...

Mine still hasn't been working, either. I cleared my cache, restarted my computer, tried a different browser- all no dice.

I am having connection issues as well. I lost connection yesterday and had it back briefly today (8/26/2012). Wondering if I'm losing "Exceptional Friend" time as well. Would like credit for time lost which I paid for.

Does anyone know how to get the Fallen London Facebook/Twitter account to rationalize with the Story Nexus account? I was playing all day yesterday after the upgrade but every time I switched from Cabinet Noir to Fallen London (or back) I would have to log back in again.

I am also no longer able to access the Fallen London site no matter what combination of www. or Google searches I try. I did see the suggestion made about clearing one's browser history/cache, but the computers at our Library (where I work) do not save any history, so I have nothing to clear...

Hi all,

I'm going to lock this thread because it looks like people are starting to use it for stuff that should be bug reports, which won't actually help us work out if there *are* bugs in addition to the DNS propogation. If you're having problems logging in send an email to fallenlondonbugs@failbettergames.com so we can investigate. Thanks!
