Hello, I have problem to make equipable items and also item slots. I am pretty sure I did everything according to StoryNexus reference Guide.

Does the character have the "ship" item?
The slot item needs to already exist in the player's inventory before an item can be assigned to it. edited by mek on 9/4/2014

That's the only thing I can think of too, glancing at your links. With 'pocket-type' sections of inventory, they have to be awarded to the player before they can be used. Treat them as a normal item before you treat them as pockets, if that make sense? (And I'd do at the earliest possible opportunity, before any other stuff can be collected. Makes things a lot easier.)
