No. The devs certainly read the forums, but they strongly prefer you email because emails are automatically entered into their bug tracking software.
I'd certainly prefer that the bug tracking be public -- it allows the community to collaborate on tricky bugs, and reduces the number of duplicate reports -- but I'm guessing Zendesk would charge 'em for it.
