The development team could think of some system of multi-language translations leveraging the similar experience of creators of the game Plague Inc. <http://store.steampowered.com/app/246620/> They use a site for translation voluntary cooperative. <http://translation.ndemiccreations.com/>
My suggestion is to open as soon as a similar proposal. I would like to help in translation to my native language, Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR). The texts of the game has great quality and are refined and believe that the creators of Sunless Sea are favorable to this initiative will be opening doors to increase sales in countries where English is not the official language.
We know many experiments showing that translate the games to PT-BR represented significant increases in sales and add value to other releases of the companies that have accepted this investment.
