Unity is the engine, not the programming language; they mentioned in one of the blog posts that they're doing the coding in C# iirc

Aye. Quite a few languages can be used within Unity - wasn't sure if he was interested in SS in particular or just how one might do similar. A vague google mentions C#, JavaScript, Boo. (Go for the eyes, Boo.)
